《新型电力系统下煤电清洁低碳发展路径研究报告》指出,在2030年碳达峰前,我国仍需新建一定规模的煤电机组,并分析了新增煤电的深层原因。

同时,报告表明,从中长期来看,中国致力于构建以新能源为主体的新型电力系统。在这一发展目标下,煤电也将加快转型步伐;即便新增机组,通过低碳化改造与灵活性改造等方式,中国煤电也将逐步达成兼具清洁化与调节能力的降碳路径。

 

The report reveals the underlying key reasons why China will still build a certain amount of new coal power capacity before China reaches its carbon emissions peak in 2030.

From a medium-to-long-term perspective, China is targeting to build a new power system centered on renewable energy. With this goal, China’s coal power will undergo accelerated transformation. Even for newly added capacity, through low-carbon and flexibility retrofits, China’s coal fleet is expected to gradually follow a decarbonization pathway that ensures both cleaner generation and enhanced grid flexibility.
